Built-in maps with terrain
Arma Reforger Maps for the Artillery Calculator
A calculator is only as good as the heights it gets. Every map in Reforger FDC carries the terrain of its world, so the gun and target heights are read from the ground instead of guessed. Seven maps are built in and appear in the list; there is nothing to download or install.
Vanilla maps
- Everon (Eden)
- 12.8 by 12.8 km
- Kolguyev
- 12.8 by 12.8 km
- Arland
- 4.1 by 4.1 km
The imagery of the three vanilla maps was captured in game with the project's own tooling and stitched into a picture 16 384 pixels across, and the heights come from the same game worlds. The tiles are encoded at quality 95, so roads, tree lines and buildings stay readable when zoomed in. The imagery and terrain belong to Bohemia Interactive.
SPEARHEAD maps
- SH-Orlivka
- 6.9 by 6.9 km, 0.21 m per pixel, map by xJESUSx
- Khreshchatyske
- 4.1 by 4.1 km, 0.25 m per pixel, map by xJESUSx
- SH-Hostomel
- 10.2 by 10.2 km, 0.31 m per pixel, map by Rumor
- SH-Yunakivka
- 10.2 by 10.2 km, 0.31 m per pixel, map by Rumor
The four SPEARHEAD maps are built into the site with the SPEARHEAD team's written permission of 12 September 2026. Each map shows its creator and the SPEARHEAD logo on the map itself, as the team asked.
They are styled maps rather than screenshots. Terrain, roads, buildings by kind, trenches and bunkers, obstacles, knocked-out vehicles, aircraft silhouettes, railways, water and, where the world has them, place names are drawn from a Workbench export of each world. Objects keep their in-game size even where a mod model is larger than the real thing, so a distance measured on the map is a distance in the game. Ruined blocks are drawn as solid hatched areas with the roads running over the rubble.
Heights and corrections
On every map the heights of the gun and the target are read from the terrain the moment the points are placed, and the difference is applied to the elevation with the height correction measured in game. A height typed by hand always wins over the terrain. Between the two points the application also draws the terrain profile, which is the ground and not the path of the round.
Offline and your own maps
Tiles of a built-in map need the network the first time they are shown and come from the browser cache afterwards. A map pack you install yourself, from a file or a link, is stored on the device and works fully offline. The same tools that made these maps can prepare a pack for another world.
How to pick a map
- Open Reforger FDC and choose the map workflow.
- Pick the map from the list; vanilla and mod maps are grouped apart.
- Choose the weapon, place the gun and the target, and calculate.
- For several guns on one target, see the battery mode.
